Terms of Service

You must abide by these Terms of Service by accessing or using Scientindex. In the event that you are not in agreement with these Terms, please refrain from using this platform.

These Terms are applicable to Scientindex researchers, authors, reviewers, publishers, editors and all users of Scientindex.

Users shall be responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of information they provide to create an account, and shall keep their logon information confidential.

Activities performed under your account are your responsibility and you should notify Scientindex if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account or suspicious activity.

Scientindex currently offers free accounts for researchers, reviewers and publishers based on the features and policies of the platform.

You agree to use Scientindex responsibly and not:

• Submit plagiarized, fabricated, falsified, or fraudulent research.
• Misrepresent authorship, affiliation, qualifications, or research information.
• Manipulate or interfere with the peer-review or editorial process.
• Upload malicious or harmful files.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the platform or another user's account.
• Scrape, copy, or bulk-extract platform data without appropriate permission.
• Violate intellectual property, privacy, or other legal rights.
• Use the platform for unlawful or abusive activities.

Scientindex reserves the right to take appropriate action in response to users' violation of these requirements.

Authors and publishers retain the rights they hold in the content they submit to Scientindex. When you submit or publish content, you represent and warrant that you have the rights and permissions to submit that content.

Once published, conditions of licences will apply to the access, sharing and distribution of accepted publications. Scientindex may host, index, display and distribute published content and associated metadata as deemed necessary to facilitate the operation of Scientindex's academic publishing and discovery services.

The Scientindex website, platform design, software, branding, and related infrastructure remain the property of Scientindex or its applicable licensors.

Submission of an article does not ensure publication or acceptance of the article.

Articles can undergo the relevant editorial and peer review process prior to publication. The reviewers should assess the manuscripts critically, but in a confidential manner, and report any conflict of interests.

Scientindex may keep submission and review files in line with the integrity and functioning of the publishing process.

Accepted articles that are eligible for publication are eligible to be published via the Scientindex platform, as per the journal and publishing policies.

If available, published articles can be assigned a Crossref DOI and publication metadata. No assignment of a DOI is an assurance of acceptance, external database indexing, citations or quality of academic work.

For the purposes of the platform items being covered by these Terms, Scientindex is free for use by the researcher, reviewers and publishers.

No fee for creating an account, submitting an article for consideration or participating in a peer review.

Any future paid service or fee will be communicated prior to application.

Scientindex is able to incorporate third-party services like ORCID, cloud storage, email services, analytics tools, or other technologies.

Their respective terms and privacy policies may also apply to your use of these third-party services. Scientindex makes no control over third party providers' policies and practices.

The accuracy, originality, legal and ethical integrity of the content submitted by the authors, publishers and users is their responsibility.

Scientindex is not responsible for the accuracy, completeness or conclusions of the research submitted or published by users.

Scientindex is made available on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We strive to provide a reliable platform but cannot guarantee that our service will be without interruption, without error or available at all times.

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Scientindex shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss resulting from the use of the platform.

Scientindex reserves the right to suspend, limit, or terminate an account if a user breaches these Terms, commits abusive or fraudulent actions, or is a threat to Scientindex or other users.

Users can also terminate their accounts and ask to have their accounts closed (where applicable).

The Laws of India govern these Terms of Service. All disagreements over the use of Scientindex will be resolved under the Indian law applicable to the same.

Scientindex reserves the right to modify, amend, or otherwise update these Terms of Service as deemed necessary to reflect changes to the platform, services or applicable requirements.

Any changes to the Terms will be displayed on this page and will have an updated Last Updated date. If an update is made to the Terms, continued use of Scientindex means you accept the new Terms, to the extent legally allowed.
